A beautiful new design that through simplicity improved the app usability and gave it it’s own identity. Sleep Timer let’s you fall asleep to your favorite music. You simply start your music, and then set the count down timer. When the timer is up, Sleep Timer softly fades your music out and stops it. Allowing you to get your precious sleep, and stops your battery from draining.

The redesign
We worked on improving the simplicity, usability and beauty. Creating a great user experience for the existing and new users of the app.
Making the most of the screen space available.
We designed a time picker that has larger touch areas and utilizes more of the screen space. As well as increased the text size of the important information, to make it readable at a glance.
Presets
To improve the user experience even further and avoid having to do repetitive tasks, we introduced presets that allow users to set and reuse standard times.
An identity of it’s own.
Through the use of color and typography, we gave the app a strong and unique identity. The sleep timer is used by people going to sleep, normally in dark environments. We kept the theme dark to avoid blinding the users, but found great ways to use color where it counts. The identity is strongly present through out the app, even in the widget!
